A Dutchman has completed a three-year, 95,000-kilometre trip across the world using an electric car. Wiebe Wakker left the Netherlands in March 2016 and drove in his electric car across 33 countries in three years. Mr Wakker faced many issues during his travels, including rough terrain and water in his engine, but he told Sky News the heart of Australia was a particular challenge, as the distances were greater than his car could handle.
